Booking & studio
Where do appointments take place?
In Nadia's private home studio on High Street, Mill Hill, London NW7. It's a calm, one-to-one space — no busy salon floor and no waiting room. Choose your treatments, pick a time and we'll confirm your slot.
Why isn't the full studio address on the website?
The studio is part of a private home, so for privacy and safety the exact address is only shared with confirmed clients. You'll receive the full address and arrival details in your booking confirmation.
Can you come to my home instead?
Yes — home visits are available across North and North West London, with Central London and the Hertfordshire borders by arrangement. Zone A (Mill Hill and nearby) has free travel, Zone B (North & North West London) is £10 and Zone C (Central and wider London) is £15. Use the postcode checker on our Studio & areas page to see your fee instantly.
Is there a minimum spend?
There's no minimum spend for appointments at the studio. Home visits have a £40 minimum spend before travel — combine treatments, or book with a friend or family member at the same address to reach it easily.
Do I need to pay a deposit?
A £15 deposit secures your appointment and comes off your final bill. The balance is paid on the day by card, Apple Pay, Google Pay or bank transfer.
What is your cancellation policy?
Please give at least 24 hours' notice to cancel or move an appointment and your deposit carries over. Cancellations within 24 hours or missed appointments mean the deposit is kept to cover the reserved time (and travel, for home visits).
What do I need to provide for a home visit?
Nothing for studio appointments — everything is ready when you arrive. For home visits: just a table and two chairs near a plug socket and good light for nails; a comfortable chair or sofa for pedicures, brows and threading; and a little floor space for waxing.
Do you charge for parking on home visits?
Home-visit travel fees cover fuel and time. If there's no free parking nearby, paid parking — and the Congestion Charge for Central London appointments during charging hours — is added at cost. We'll always tell you before confirming.
Do you work evenings and weekends?
Yes — appointments run seven days a week, including weekday evenings.
Safety & hygiene
How do you keep treatments hygienic?
Metal tools are cleaned and disinfected and stored in sealed pouches. Files, buffers, spatulas, threads and covers are single-use. Every surface is cleaned and protected before and after each client — in the studio and on home visits.
Do I need a patch test?
Yes, for eyebrow and eyelash tinting. New clients need a patch test at least 24–48 hours before tinting, in line with product requirements.
I have sensitive skin — can I still book waxing or threading?
Usually, yes. Please tell us about any skin sensitivities, medication or recent skin treatments (such as retinoids, peels or laser) before your appointment so we can advise whether waxing or threading is suitable.
Are you qualified and insured?
Yes. All treatments are carried out by a qualified therapist with public liability and treatment insurance. Certificates are available on request.
Nails & pedicures
How long do gel nails and BIAB last?
Gel polish typically lasts two to three weeks on hands and three to four weeks on toes. BIAB lasts three to four weeks and is designed to be infilled rather than removed, so your natural nails can grow underneath.
What's the difference between BIAB and gel polish?
Gel polish is a thin colour layer. BIAB (Builder in a Bottle) is a thicker, strengthening gel that adds structure, helps weak nails grow and can be infilled every few weeks. BIAB can be worn natural or finished with gel colour.
Gel tips or sculpted gel extensions — which should I choose?
Gel tips use pre-shaped full-cover tips applied with gel — quick, light and great for a uniform shape. Sculpted gel extensions are built by hand on forms rather than tips, giving a fully custom shape and length. Both can be finished in gel colour, French or ombré.
Is removal included?
Removal is included only where specified — for example 'BIAB with removal & reapplication' or 'Removal & new gel tips set'. Otherwise, add the matching removal to your booking. Please let us know about any existing product before your appointment.
Can I book an infill on a set done elsewhere?
Infill pricing applies to suitable existing BIAB sets. If your current set has lifted, grown out too far or was done with a different product, we may recommend a removal and fresh set instead — tell us what you're wearing when you book.
What if I have a foot or nail concern?
Please let us know about any foot or nail concerns before your appointment. Nail art, repairs and specialist treatments may incur additional charges.
Brows, threading & waxing
Threading or waxing for brows — what's the difference?
Threading uses a twisted cotton thread to remove hair line by line, giving very precise shapes and suiting sensitive skin. Waxing removes hair quickly over a larger area. Both cost £12 for a brow shape — choose whichever you prefer.
How long should hair be before waxing?
Around 5mm — roughly three to four weeks of growth after shaving. Shorter hair may not be removed cleanly.
It's my first Brazilian — what should I expect?
Intimate waxing is subject to a short consultation and our policy. Appointments are private and quick, and we'll talk you through each step so you feel comfortable.
Do you sell gift vouchers?
Yes — vouchers are available for any amount or treatment and are valid for 12 months. Message us and we'll send a beautifully designed digital voucher.
